About the candidate

In my first term as your councilmember, I fought to make our streets safe, keep residential taxes low, and expand services. 

• Chair of the public safety committee
• Voted continually to maintain the tax rate, while holding businesses accountable for their share 
• Supported the creation of the waste management division of the Environmental Justice Department and Call A Bus services

In my second term, I focused on a transparent government and fiscal responsibility while navigating the challenges of the COVID 19 pandemic. 

• Supported the restructuring of government to create checks and balances
• Cut expenditures drastically
• Provided resources such as rent and mortgage relief and hosted events to help residents adjust to COVID 19 related challenges

If afforded the opportunity to continue to serve, I will support legislation and advocate for policies that are in the best interests of Seat Pleasant residents. High priority concerns include:

• Vacant properties
•  Neighborhood and Commercial Compliance (Code Enforcement)
• Sustaining relationships with County, State, and Federal legislators
• Annexation 
• Partnerships with neighboring jurisdictions
